The 7th Annual CNASF Stud Service Auction of nominated Sires was held in November 2007.
Proceeds from the auction go towards prize money for the Canadian National Alpaca Futurity (Red Deer, AB - April 18-20, 2008). This year's auction raised almost $80,000 !!

All further arrangements must be between the buyer and the donor of the service.
NOTE:These Stud services are for the 2008 breeding season and are only available to female alpacas that are resident in Canada.

The nominated Studs must have received a minimum bid of $1000 by the close of the Auction to be subscribed to the futurity. If the minimum bid was not received, the Stud owner can make the minimum bid themselves in order to subscribe their stud.
Only juvenile & yearling offspring of subscribed Studs are eligible for the futurity.(i.e. offspring born between April 21, 2006 and November 20, 2007)

** All cria resulting from the breedings purchased in the auction and born within 24 months after the auction ends are eligible for the futurity as juveniles even if the studs are not subscribed the following year. (This does not apply to stud owners who purchase their own herdsire's breeding in the auction.)
Subscribed Stud owners will receive one complimentary display stall at the Futurity.
