How The Auction Sale Works

10 alpacas and 2 wildcard entries are offered for sale to the CNASF Lottery.

Each alpaca is assigned a category with a minimum price. You can choose to bid more than the category price, silent auction style. It has to be in increments of $250, for instance... $3000.00, $3225.00, $3500.00, $3750.00.

In the event that there are two ballots with the same price those will be put back into the Lottery box and the winner drawn.

The lottery sale will be held Saturday, April 9th at 6pm MST at the CRE in Camrose, AB.

• CNASF Wild card entry revealed live on Facebook Friday April 8th at 5:30pm MST
• A.L.P.A.C.A. Wild card entry revealed live on Facebook Saturday April 9th at 2:30pm MST
• Parade of lottery sale animals live on Facebook Saturday April 9th at 2:35pm MST
  

If the purchaser wants to purchase an alpaca lottery entry they can do two things:

1. Phone or text info to Trudy McCall at 780-872-3338

   Email and we can fill out a lottery ticket for you or
   
   
2. If you are at the CNASF there will be lottery tickets available on the lottery tables – fill out lottery ticket – put in the appropriate box assigned to that alpaca you wish to purchase
   Only one lottery ticket per alpaca per farm is allowed.

Lottery Tickets will be available on the lottery tables starting Friday, April 8th, at 9am.

**Please note that the lottery is staggered so you can place lottery tickets in lottery boxes while other lottery boxes are being pulled**

Quarantine & Export is available to purchasers if needed
